November is American Diabetes Month and Methodist North Hospital will kick off the month with an educational seminar about diabetes Friday, November 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3743 Austin Peay Hwy. DeAnna Brown, a certified diabetes educator at Methodist North hospital, will teach participants practical ways to help control diabetes in everyday life.
