In addition to seeing some of the latest architectural and decorating trends during the Vesta Home Show’s Senior Days, Oct. 6 and 13, in Saunders Creek, at Tenn. 57 and Tenn. 194 in Rossville, you can also get ready for flu season by getting a flu shot.
Nurses from the Methodist Minor Medical Centers will be at the Methodist tent from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to give flu shots to children from four all the way through senior citizens. The cost of a flu shot is $25 and you can pay by check, credit card, cash, or Medicare. Medicare patients must bring their insurance information. Basic Medicare is the only insurance that will be accepted. Medicare Advantage and HMO plans are not included.
If you miss Senior Days at the Vesta Home Show, you can still visit one of Methodist’s three convenient Minor Medical Centers at 8045 Club Parkway, 8071 Winchester at Hacks Cross, or 5480 Goodman Road in Olive Branch. Flu shots will be available beginning Oct. 1.
The Vesta Home Show runs from Oct. 4 to Oct. 19. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at the Memphis Area Home Builders Association or any Bank of Fayette branch. Tickets can also be purchased at the event for $12. Seniors can buy tickets for $10 at the event during Senior Days Oct. 6 and 13.
