Learn everything you need to know about babysitting with the help of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. Methodist Perinatal Services is offering babysitting classes for boys and girls 11-15. The one day class will help prepare pre-teens and teens for babysitting.

The one day sessions start at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. There are several dates to choose from:

• Monday, June 8
• Wednesday, June 17
• Wednesday, July 8
• Wednesday, July 15

The classes will be held at Dogwood Manor on the campus of Methodist Germantown Le Bonheur Hospital, 7691 Poplar Ave.

Classes cover:

• Responsibilities of being a babysitter
• First aid and CPR
• Changing diapers
• Learning fun games that help develop a child’s mind
• Preparing tasty snacks and meals for children and infants
• Making bedtime easy without tears and tantrums
• Creating a baby-sitting resume

Wear comfortable clothes, bring a sack lunch and a drink and get ready for a fun-filled day learning about babysitting. Snacks will be provided.
