A new policy entitled Patient Hand-off will be implemented on June 7, 2006. This policy is designed to "establish two way communication between caregivers with the opportunity to question, clarify, and confirm pertinent patient information when the responsibility of care is being transferred."

Dana Matheny (Director, Clinical Standardization) will be presenting the details of this policy on the following dates/times:

May 30 - 3-4 PM
May 31 - 10-11AM
June 1 - 9-10AM

All sessions will be held in the Wilson Hall Auditorium (SON). Pre-registration is not necessary, and information will be placed on LearnCerner next week. These sessions will provide you an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification.
