Community HIV Network

We provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive, family-centered care for families and individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.  By working together with the community, we are improving the quality of life, increasing early detection and reducing infection rates in the greater Memphis area.

Funded by Title IV of the Ryan White CARE Act, we were established in 1998 to develop and strengthen healthcare and social-services systems dedicated to the needs of women, children, youth and families infected with and affected by HIV.

Services provided by network agencies include HIV post-test counseling; medical care for women, children and youth; access to AIDS clinical trials; support groups and one-on-one "buddy" support; transportation to medical and social-service appointments; case management; outreach testing and education; outreach to the Spanish-speaking community; and day or respite care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old.
