Center for Children and Parents

The Center for Children and Parents is dedicated to providing services to children and families who are at risk for physical, psychological or developmental problems resulting from child abuse, neglect and other family crisis situations. The Center’s Clinical Services include the Clinical Evaluations and Treatment Team and fee-for-service evidenced-based therapies. The Center’s preventive and home visitation programs include Healthy Families, Parent Outreach, Nurse-Family Partnership and Fatherhood Program. The Center also provides and supports an early childhood education program the Child Care Resource and Referral Center.

Childcare Referral & Resource Center

| | The goals of the CCR&R are to assist childcare providers in understanding, implementing, and maintaining quality childcare standards and practices; to educate parents and the general public on quality childcare; to assist parents in locating quality childcare; and encourage and assist childcare providers in continuing their education. |

Clinical Services

| | The Center for Child and Parents provides clinical services to children and families. Services include general counseling, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Multidisciplinary Family Evaluation. |

Early Success Coalition
|
| | The Early Success Coalition is working to develop a community infrastructure that will promote and sustain effective services for children and families from pre-conception to age six. |

Fatherhood Program
|
| | The Fatherhood Program is designed to promote responsible fatherhood and prevent child abuse and neglect by use of the Strengthening Families model. |

Healthy Families & Parent Outreach
|
| | Healthy Families Clients must be first-time, teenage mother (age 19 or younger). Must be enrolled pre-natally or within two weeks following baby’s birth.
Parent Outreach Clients are any pregnant or new mother whose baby is less than three months old.

Nurse Family Partnership
|
| | The Nurse Family Partnership is a voluntary program in which specially prepared nurses visit low-income women in their homes during their first pregnancy and throughout the first two years of their children’s lives . |

Teen Parent Conference
|
| | The Teen Parent Conference's goal is to raise awareness about the importance of
responsible parenting.
