5 South Neuroscience Unit: Center of Excellence

| | 5 South, Le Bonheur’s Neuroscience Unit, is comprised of 20 private patient rooms that accommodate different levels of care. Nurses take care of all types of patients including those who, straight out the Intensive Care Unit, require more monitoring and kids almost well enough to go home. |

7 Central Epilepsy Monitoring Unit: Center of Excellence

| | As a Level IV Center, designated by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers, this seven-bed unit provides a multi-disciplinary treatment approach utilizing the most current therapies and interventions available. |

Cardiac Institute: Center of Excellence

| | Becoming a nurse within the Cardiac Institute at Le Bonheur means focus and dedication to the very specific area of pediatric cardiology. Cardiac nurses work with a specialized team of cardiac doctors, surgeons and intensivists to treat children with a wide variety of complex heart diseases. |

Critical Care

| | Critical care nurses at Le Bonheur are encouraged to practice teamwork and critical thinking skills on a daily basis, and are used as hospital-wide resources for children in need. |

Emergency Department

| | Le Bonheur is home to the area’s only emergency department dedicated solely to the care of children. Our Emergency Department is one of the ten busiest pediatric emergency departments in the country, caring for nearly 70,000 children a year. |
