My Promise
In 2004, we used the Institute of Medicine recommendations to develop five basic tenets called the My Promise statement. This statement reminds our Associates how their work directly impacts children and families. Every improvement team or quality initiative is tied directly back to one of the "My Promise" tenets.
- Family Centered Care - I will put the patient and family needs first.
- Patient Safety - I will do no harm.
- Evidence Based Care - I will follow best practice.
- Timeliness - I will prevent needless delays.
