Genke, Edgecombe and Wildmon Assume New Roles

Jan Genke, RN, MPH, NE-BC, has been named administrative director of nursing clinical operations. In her new role, Jan will provide leadership with the administrative supervisors, Direct Admit team, transplant coordinators, sitters, and the nursing administrative office.

Mike Edgecombe recently assumed the role of chief perfusionist for the Le Bonheur Children’s Heart Institute. Mike comes to Le Bonheur from The Children’s Hospital in Denver.

As chief perfusionist, Edgecombe’s responsibilities include actively pursuing opportunities to improve patient care and perfusion services, researching and approving the introduction of new techniques, protocols and equipment, staying abreast of current practices in the field of specialization and working closely with the perfusion team

Terry Wildmon was recently named service line director for Neonatology. Wildmon joined Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in 2004, and most recently served as a project manager in the Le Bonheur Children’s Quality department.

In his new role, Wildmon will work closely with the neonatologists and NICU leadership team to provide planning, development, analysis, and process improvement for the Neonatology service line.
