Kevin M. Spiegel, FACHE, became the chief executive officer/administrator of Methodist University Hospital in March 2008.
Spiegel earned his MBA in Health Care Administration from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He is board-certified in healthcare administration and a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare, Spiegel served as president and chief operating officer of Trumbull Memorial Hospital, a 350-bed tertiary hospital in Ohio. Under his leadership, Trumbull Memorial experienced substantial market share growth, implemented an affiliation agreement with the University Hospital's Ireland Cancer Center for the provision of regional cancer services and earned Solucient's Top 100 Hospitals ranking in Modern Healthcare.
