William A. Kenley was named Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in May 2009. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Administrator and CEO of Methodist North Hospital for 5 years and led the hospital to become the first private hospital in Memphis with an electronic medical record.
Before joining Methodist Healthcare, he was the president and chief executive officer of NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn., and administrator and chief executive officer of Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Va.
Kenley holds a master's degree in health administration from Duke University and a bachelor of science degree from Radford University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association. He serves as the chairman of both the budget and finance committee and the solutions group for the Tennessee Hospital Association.
