Larry Fogarty is vice president of Supply Chain Management, a system-wide support function which includes purchasing, accounts payable, contracting, shipping/receiving, central supply, medical supply replenishment, transportation, linen services, facilities services, construction and renovation, capital asset management and procurement. Fogarty joined Methodist Healthcare in 1995, first serving as an administrative resident, and later as director of Managed Care at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.
Fogarty is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Memphis.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Health Care Financial Management Association. He also serves as a member of the United Way of the Mid-South board of directors and is a member of the strategic advisory committee of Premier, a national group purchasing organization representing approximately 1,500 member not-for-profit healthcare organizations.
