Michelle B. Collis was named vice president of Patient- and Family- Centered care in 2008. Prior to that role, Collis served as vice-president of Marketing and Communications. She has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has been vice president of Marketing and Communications since 1999. Collis has significant experience in virtually all of the disciplines and aspects of healthcare marketing. She came to Methodist in 1984.
Collis is active in her church, her teenage children's schools as well as such community organizations as the Multiple Sclerosis Society and United Way. She is also an active member of the Marketing Healthcare Roundtable and other professional organizations. Collis received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and Master of Arts from the University of Memphis.
