About the Center
The Methodist Healthcare Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center provides a preventive outpatient clinic specifically for sickle cell patients and Memphis’ first dedicated emergency infusion unit. The Center is focused on becoming a patient-centered home for individuals living with sickle cell disease and acts as a model for primary care and preventive medicine.
We are committed to providing continuity of care that will help enhance the quality of life of patients and their families across the Mid-South.
The Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center of Memphis provides patients with clinical resources to ensure their healthcare needs are met and their medical transition is seamless. The Center provides:
- Comprehensive preventive care and patient education services.
- Transition assistance from pediatric to adult care for patients ages 18-25.
- Quick access to the infusion care services for crisis management.

Infusion Center Hours, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM*
*An on-call doctor is available to answer questions after-hours and on weekends.
