Outpatient centers provide therapy for the following conditions.

Injury Rehabilitation

Participating in sports and exercising on a regular basis are great ways to maintain your health. However, physical activity can often result in injuries. Outpatient therapy can help you regain strength and movement, while also regulating pain to improve function, after you experience injuries including:

  • Tendonitis
  • Trauma
  • Rotator cuff injury
  • Surgery
  • Fracture
  • Sports-related injuries

Medical Condition Rehabilitation

Outpatient therapy can also help with movement, coordination and self-care related to a number of medical conditions including:

  • Back and spine-related issues
  • Joint replacement
  • Balance disorders
  • Soft tissue and joint dysfunction
  • Fall prevention and ambulation training
  • Chronic and acute pain
  • Post-mastectomy issues, such as shoulder stiffness and swelling
  • Pregnancy related musculoskeletal assessments
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Stroke
  • Lymphedema

As part of our therapy services, we also offer the Bioness® L300 ankle neuro-orthosis and H200 hand rehab system, which provide mild electrical stimulation to help maximize your treatment. This system is often used with patients who have experienced a stroke or suffer from other neurological conditions.

Speech Therapy

As part of our rehabilitation program, speech therapists provide specialized treatment that can help address issues such as:

  • Aphasia
  • Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
  • Apraxia of speech
  • Cognitive communication disorders
  • Organic and non-organic voice disorders
  • Motor speech disorders
