The Brain and Spine Institute at Methodist University Hospital offers comprehensive programs and clinics to treat neurological conditions including brain tumors and spine tumors

We provide wide range of comprehensive neuroscience centers and programs, including the Stroke Center, which offers a neuro intensive-care inpatient stroke unit as well as inpatient rehabilitation.

Transplant Institute

Nationally recognized for its success with organ transplantation, Methodist University Hospital’s Transplant Institute has been a leader in the field for more than 30 years. One of the 12 largest programs in the country, the Transplant Institute serves Memphis, Tennessee, the Mid South and beyond. Partnering with the University of Tennessee Transplant Surgery Division, the program is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the life expectancy for its transplant patients through research breakthroughs, excellence in surgical techniques and meticulous post-operative care.

Cardiovascular Institute

The Cardiovascular Institute at Methodist University Hospital partners with Columbia University Medical Center and The University of Tennessee Health Science Center to provide the best overall cardiac care possible for Memphis and the Mid South. Our cardiac experts use Cardioscans to diagnose heart conditions and wireless heart monitors to care for cardiology patients at their bedsides. Our Certified Chest Pain Centers offer a variety of treatments for heart attack patients, including heart surgery.

Maternity Services

Orthopaedic Services

The Total Joint Center at Methodist North is the only center in Memphis that provides a dedicated orthopaedic unit focused on patients undergoing total knee replacement and total hip replacement. Orthopaedic surgery procedures such as ACL repair and knee arthroscopy are offered on an outpatient basis.
