Infusion Therapy
Infusion Therapy is a service that allows patients to receive the vital fluids and medicines that they need at home or in one of our outpatient centers. A doctor may prescribe IV medicines or nutrition for patients with an illness or injury. Many of these therapies can be provided for patients in the comfort of their home or in an outpatient clinic.
Who Needs Infusion Therapy?
Patients with many different kinds of illnesses or injuries may need infusion therapy. Some common infusion therapies include antibiotics, nutrition, chemotherapy and pain management. Patients with the following conditions, as well as many others, may benefit from infusion therapy:
