Every year, the Methodist Emergency Departments serve more than 250,000 sick and injured people. Our Emergency Departments are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to care for your emergency medical needs.

Chest Pain Emergencies

Our Emergency Rooms offer comprehensive cardiac services, bringing high-level cardiac care to patients in all corners of our community, which is vitally important when treating heart attacks.  Methodist hospitals have Disease Specific Certification from The Joint Commission for AMI (heart attack). Methodist North Hospital is accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center.

Those who need intervention are rapidly diagnosed and treated. Those who do not need intervention are more quickly ruled out for heart attack and can leave with peace of mind.
