Methodist provides the highest level of neurological treatment and care in the areas of brain and spine surgery, stroke care and intervention, head and neck surgery and facial pain.
Methodist University Hospital is home to the largest Neuro care center in Memphis, made up of our Neuro critical care unit and step-down unit staffed by a team of physicians and highly trained nurses using state-of-the-art technology and equipment. We use the newest inter-cranial pressure monitoring devices, Diligent lift equipment and blood pressure monitors to offer specialized care for each patient.
Neuro units have dedicated case managers, social workers, physical therapists, dieticians and pharmacists, as well as a full time Certified Neuro Registered Nurse Educator and Stroke Coordinator.
