Brain & Spine Institute: Patient & Family Resources

The Brain and Spine Institute’s staff of experts provide academic and clinical services in the areas of neurosurgery, neurovascular intervention, and neurology supported by the latest technology, collaboration, and research.  The institute offers comprehensive adult clinical programs, centers and services in order to treat: brain tumors, skull base tumors, spinal and neurological disorders, and stroke. The Institute is located at Methodist University Hospital.  

Pastoral Care

Our chaplains are specially trained in hospital ministry and are available 24 hours a day for patients, family and visitors. To page the chaplain on call, Monday through Friday, dial 901.481.6832. For the weekend pager, please dial 901.418.4309.

Stroke Support Groups

Stroke Support Groups meet three times each month at different locations around the city. These meetings provide education and support to caregivers and stroke survivors. Meetings are free, and you are invited to join us at any time.
