Cancer Center Luncheon

The Methodist Healthcare Foundation presents the Cancer Center Luncheon each year to benefit the education and research initiatives of the Methodist Healthcare Cancer Center in the treatment of all forms of cancer. Each year's luncheon features a well-known speaker and past speakers include Julie Andrews, Tom Brokaw, James Carville and Mary Matalin, Queen Noor of Jordan, Barbara Bush and more.

The 10th annual and most recent Methodist Healthcare Foundation Cancer Center Luncheon was presented by Methodist Healthcare Foundation and The West Clinic.  It was held on November 4, 2011 and featured Academy Award-winning actor, Michael Douglas.  Mr. Douglas spoke to a sold out audience as he reflected on his family, his career and his battle with stage IV throat cancer.  With a crowd of 1,150 guests in attendance, this was a sold out event with proceeds benefiting the Methodist Cancer Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
