The Women's & Children's Pavilion Gift Registry
Help our newest arrival welcome the latest deliveries in the Mid-South by considering a gift to the Pavilion via our Gift Registry. From our spacious labor and delivery rooms to our private NICU(neonatal intensive care unit)rooms, our new building will be home to the tiniest of lives, yet the greatest of miracles. Some of these families will spend weeks at the hospital, forming a bond between our family and theirs. Help us make their stay comfortable. Your support can assist us in providing education for new parents, decorate the walls with artwork, and help us build the most comprehensive neonatal unit in the Mid-South. Help us deliver miracles and memories at the Women’s and Children’s Pavilion at Methodist Germantown by considering a gift in support of: The Gift of Healing Your generous contribution will go to the area of greatest need at the Pavilion. Give the gift of healing. Sponsor Two (2) New Mom Gift Packages Moms who deliver in the Pavilion will receive a gift bag full of items to welcome their newest arrival safely at home. Gift bags include a HALO® Safe Sleep Swaddle, an infant t-shirt, diapers, lactation support items and plenty of educational materials in English and Spanish. Sponsor new mom gift packages. Prenatal Education Materials Help us teach new parents what to expect during pregnancy, birth and how to care for their infant when they get home. Our childbirth classes cover nearly everything new parents need to know and allow for hands-on training and one-on-one interaction with experienced RNs. Give prenatal education materials. Portable DVD Player Hours can pass slowly while waiting for baby to come or sitting at the bedside while a loved one recovers from a procedure. We would like to build a DVD and education library for our patients and their guests to help entertain, educate and pass the time. Give a portable DVD player. Artwork for the Pavilion We’re proud of our beautiful 218,000 square-feet bundle of joy, but the new building includes expansive wall space to decorate! Photography and artwork will help our patients and guests feel at home in the Pavilion. Give new artwork for the Pavilion. Bassinette The new Pavilion offers four cheerful, well baby nurseries to help mom and dad catch up on their sleep after delivery, but we also encourage new parents to have their baby room-in with them. Bassinettes are always needed and appreciated to help parents get acquainted with taking care of their newborn while our experienced nursing staff is close by to help. Give a bassinette. Entertainment Package for the Antepartum Program Expectant moms with challenging pregnancies can be ordered by their physician to spend weeks and months at the hospital on bed rest. This is often a difficult time for our patients as they struggle with anxiety and boredom. Led by our hospital volunteers, our antepartum program helps relieve stress by teaching moms new skills and hobbies that they can do in restful positions. Materials are needed to teach painting, drawing and jewelry classes. Volunteers can also help patients set up blogs and Web sites. Give an entertainment package for the Antepartum Program. Laptop for Women's Classroom Help us create a state-of-the-art learning environment for women at all stages of their lives. Our women’s classroom will host a variety of speakers and forums to educate women on various health topics and issues. Give a laptop for Women's Classroom. Neonatal Cribette When babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit “graduate” from an incubator, they are placed in a neonatal cribette to safely hold them while they wait to go home. Give a neonatal cribette. Naming Opportunity Inside Pavilion Various opportunities are available in the Pavilion for naming and sponsorship depending on your area of interest.
