Your due date is calculated by counting ahead 40 weeks from the start of your last period or about 38 weeks from the day your baby was conceived.

A full-term pregnancy is considered to be anywhere from 38 to 42 weeks. This date is not set in stone, but is helpful in determining how your child is growing and understanding the changes in your body.
