Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare officials have learned that a positive recommendation for its Certificate of Need application to build a hospital in Olive Branch has been reached by the hearing officer. The final decision, however, as to whether Methodist can build a hospital in Olive Branch has yet to come from the State health officer.
“We are happy that the hearing officer found our application in compliance with the applicable review criterion and the State Health Plan,” said Donna Abney, executive vice president, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. “We are optimistic and look forward to the State health officer’s decision.”
