Methodist Olive Branch Hospital is gearing up for an August opening date and seeking candidates for leadership positions throughout the hospital.
“As we move closer to our opening date, we are working on staffing in a phased fashion,” said Tina Sims, director of human resources for Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. “Right now we are working to fill leader positions.”

Staff positions will be posted on the site beginning in April and later in the summer, Methodist will be holding a job fair for support positions, like clerical and environmental services jobs.
Methodist received a Certificate of Need from the Mississippi Department of Health in July 2010 to build the hospital. Methodist treats over 7,000 inpatients and over 42,000 outpatients in its Shelby County hospitals annually from the State of Mississippi.
Methodist has been a part of the Olive Branch community since 2008 when it opened an outpatient facility at 5480 Goodman Road that houses Methodist Minor Medical Center, Le Bonheur Urgent Care and Methodist Sleep Disorders Center. Methodist also owns and operates imaging centers in Olive Branch and Southaven.
“Olive Branch is the fastest growing city in the fastest growing county in Mississippi. It is our continuing desire to bring our health care services closer to those we already serve and to those who wish to choose Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare as their provider,” said Methodist Olive Branch Chief Executive Officer David Baytos.
