Dorris Dotson-Suggs, R.N., has been named director of quality, regulatory readiness and risk management for Methodist Olive Branch Hospital.
She has more than 20 years of nursing experience. Dotson-Suggs was previously director of quality and performance improvement at Methodist University Hospital where she collaborated with staff and operational leadership to facilitate evidence-based quality and patient safety initiatives.
“Dorris' background and experience make her an ideal choice for this important role in our organizationc and I believe she will be able to help us implement best practices and continuously improve the level of care we provide to our patients and their families,” said David Baytos, CEO for Methodist Olive Branch Hospital and Senior Vice President for Regional and International Services.
She joined Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in 2001 and has served in a variety of clinical leadership roles. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Tennessee in Memphis, and a master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Memphis.
