Methodist North Hospital recently assumed management of the Advanced Wound Care Center to better serve patients and physicians through a systematic approach of clinical excellence and patient- and family-centered care. To reflect the change, the facility has been re-named the Comprehensive Wound Healing Center.
“We are proud to assume the management of our Methodist North Comprehensive Wound Healing Center,” said Michael Ugwueke, DHA, FACHE, CEO of Methodist North and South Hospitals. “This ownership will allow us to align our services at both North and South Wound Care Centers which will ultimately benefit our patients.”
Sandy Deimund, RN, CWS, and current Nurse Manager of Methodist South’s Comprehensive Wound Healing Center, will also serve as the Clinical Director for the North center. Sandy has eleven years of outpatient wound care experience and an excellent record of physician service and patient care.
Methodist North’s Comprehensive Wound Healing Center will continue to offer the management and healing of chronic and diabetic wounds, individualized treatments, bio-engineered tissues, vacuum assisted closures, and state-of-the art Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
The Center will continue to operate under the same hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and remain located at 3950 New Covington Pike. For more information on the Wound Healing Center, contact 901.516.5766.
