Stephanie Harrell, desktop support supervisor for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, and Toreko Rowell, desktop support driver, delivered 50 laptop computers to The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis.
With several local Boys and Girls Clubs experiencing a computer shortage, the laptops are arriving just in time. Computers are a valuable asset to the centers and organizers are excited to have more computers coming in.
“This donation will quite literally change lives,” said Vinny Borello, president and CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis. “These computers will help our kids build computer skills, do their homework and it will also give them an opportunity to work on their resumes and search and apply for jobs.”
