The Congregational Health Network will hold its second annual Clergy Chase 5K/1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Saturday, September 7 at 9 a.m. at the Overton Park Pavilion.
The Clergy Chase encourages congregations to run with their pastors to raise awareness about sickle cell disease in the African American community and to promote healthy churches. Registration is $20. All proceeds will benefit the Methodist Healthcare Sickle Cell Center.
This race encourages healthy activity, allowing participants to complete it at their own pace. Parking is available near the East Parkway Pavilion, where the race begins.
The Congregational Health Network is a covenant relationship among Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare hospitals, over 500 Mid-South congregations and community health organizations. The Congregational Health Network strives to help people navigate the health care journey in order to improve the health care of our community.
