Philanthropist and local businessman, John D. Glass, recently launched an art initiative for Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. A member of Methodist Healthcare Foundation’s board of directors, Glass commissioned artist Lisa Dyess to paint Noah’s Ark that now hangs in Germantown’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The painting was donated by Glass in loving memory of his father, William Quintard Glass.
“The painting is much appreciated by our NICU associates, patients, and families,” said William Kenley, CEO of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. “It is uplifting, colorful, and is the perfect addition to this special unit.”
