Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Associates are a hands-on resource in the community and  provide substantial financial resources to a wide spectrum of local organizations. These include the Memphis/Shelby County Crime Commission, National Civil Rights Museum, United Way, NAACP, Memphis Food Bank and literally dozens of others.

Giving From Within

Beyond substantial corporate giving, Associates within the organization provide both considerable financial support along with in-kind goods and services. These include:

  • $500,000 annually to United Way (largest per capita of any health system in Memphis).
  • $8.8 million distributed by the Le Bonheur Foundation
  • $412,000 raised for the Methodist Foundation Annual Fund Campaign to support Methodist Associates when they need help.

When taken as a whole, all the contributions to the community give a clear picture of what the people of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare are really about—from the board members to the caregivers. Within this organization there is a generosity of not just resources but also of spirit. A collective recognition that we were put here to make a difference every day, in any possible way we can, for our community.
